Our onshore volunteers are the lifeline that keeps us thriving. They pour their dedication into our cause, ensuring our success. Our organisation is fueled by the collective efforts of national groups and local chapters, composed entirely of passionate volunteers. They go the extra mile, selling merchandise, spearheading fundraising initiatives, actively engaging in beach cleanups, and organising educational talks and outreach events. If you share our enthusiasm and want to join our incredible team, we invite you to fill out a volunteer application. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
Frequently Asked Questions
While many of our chapters are based in the capital cities of each state/territory, it doesn't necessarily mean that we don't operate in your area. We encourage you to find out if there are any Sea Shepherd activities happening in your area that you can participate in. Alternatively, if you're interested in opening a chapter in your area, please send an email to outreach@seashepherd.org.au and our team will assist you further.
You can join your local chapter from the age of 10 years, provided you have permission from a parent or guardian. It is important that the parent or guardian accompanies the minor at all events they are attending.
