This film is the story of the campaign, that showcases one of the last big marine wilderness areas on Earth, one of the world’s most significant southern right whale nurseries, Nature on a grand scale, and one of the big environmental wins of 2016."

“Jeedara the film was recently entered into a number of international film festivals and is now a winner in the category of Foreign Feature and is a finalist for the  Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards. The film makers have done an amazing job with this doco, however the credit must also go to Mother Nature, for she is the real star in this documentary, as to me nature is the greatest and grandest show on earth, and it doesn’t get much bigger than the Great Australian Bight.”

“Given most of the air that we breathe come from our oceans, no matter where you live on earth, what happens to our oceans anywhere affects us all. The Great Australian Bight is rich in biodiversity with numerous whale, dolphin, shark and fish species, it is part of our oceans critical life support systems and its my hope that audiences all over the world, grow to love the Bight and with that their resolve to protect it, especially with USA oil giant Chevron wanting to put the Bight at risk next."
