Captain Paul Watson berthed our ship in St. Georges, Bermuda, at 1200 Hours on December 9, 2004.

The last time that Sea Shepherd berthed in Bermuda was in April 1979, after the original Sea Shepherd had just returned from opposing the Canadian seal hunt in March of that year.

Now a quarter of a century later, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is back in Bermuda - this time with the Farley Mowat to undergo final preparations to return to the Gulf of St. Lawrence in February 2005 to once again focus international attention on the vicious brutality of the annual Canadian seal slaughter.

Canada intends to destroy 350,000 young seals in 2005 in what is the largest marine mammal massacre in the world.

The Farley Mowat is berthed at the foot of Hunter's Wharf in St. Georges.
